About Star Portal:
Star Portal is a video-light sculpture translating new images of actual stars from the James Webb telescope into a flashy, twinkling, ‘mini-jumbotron’ animation. It was commissioned by the city of Redmond, Washington for the 2022 Redmond Lights festival in Redmond Downtown Park.
